Jonathan gained abilities to control massive ionic energy from natural sources, magnetic polarity equal to flight, due to a freak lightning strike in his early childhood.

Jonathan kept his abilities to himself and did some heroics in his early childhood days... but in a situation where his father dies protecting him, causes him to go berserk and resulted into a great quake that cost great loss of lives and properties.

Under secrecy, he was rehabilitated, trained by the Alien Humanoid C-O7 and returned to normal within a year.

A decade past, and training completed in Militia-Stealth, Martial arts, he becomes the 1st Filipino-Sentai-Hero, backed up and geared with/by the latest alien-earth technology and funded by the Phil Government Science Technology Committee.

He's knowned by his codename: Sable-Batraider
